Formation for the
man behind the role.

Brett writes from decades spent in the rooms where faith becomes practice—homes, churches, leadership teams and mentoring conversations.

The story

Called early.
Still building people.

Long before Brett became an author, his grandmother Mary D. Little spoke a calling over his life. Work and leadership began early too: he entered the workforce at twelve and became a general manager while still young.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in theology from Indiana Bible College and, alongside his wife Sheila, spent years evangelizing throughout the East and Midwest. Across more than thirty years of ministry, Brett has served in family ministry, ministry development, organizational leadership, counseling and teaching.

His leadership helped shape a mentoring program that connected nearly 200 mentors and mentees. That same impulse animates his books: make biblical truth clear, practical and usable for people carrying real responsibility.
